Architecture, as an art of built environment, in macro level is a part of universe; hence to create it we should understand some principles to make it friendly with environment, integrated with it.To build this integration and connectivity, considering the site is a first step.Every site is unique, has specific potentialities and constraints. A building created on it must respond to its site, be an integral part of it, not dominated or be dominated by. There are some support patterns to be considered to shape this integration:
A. General Site Characteristics
Each site location has its own characteristic: rural, suburban or urban area, or in mountainous, waterfront, or wide prairie. Architecture design pattern should consider these locations' characters. For example, rural prairie has horizontal character that could be adopted in our design. Other characteristic is there any heritage elements nearby so our design could consider some pattern that suit the heritage context.
